Dr. Daoud, BSc, MD, CCFP, FMAPS

Dr. Daoud is an Integrative and Functional Medicine Consultant and the founder of Thrive Integrative Medicine. She is a Board-Certified Family Physician (CCFP), a Fellow of the Medical Academy of Pediatrics & Special Needs (FMAPS), and a member in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Dr. Daoud earned her Bachelor of Science with High Honours and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan, followed by a Family Medicine residency at the University of Toronto. She has been practicing comprehensive family medicine in Ontario since 2016.
At Thrive Integrative Medicine, Dr. Daoud specializes in treating autism spectrum and related neurodevelopmental disorders, mental health, and chronic complex conditions in both children and adults. Her approach focuses on uncovering the root causes of illness while providing personalized, holistic care.
Building on her solid foundation in family medicine, Dr. Daoud has pursued advanced training in integrative and functional medicine to expand her expertise and more effectively support patients with complex health challenges. Recognizing the critical role of nutrition in health, she completed advanced nutrient therapy training at Walsh Research Institute. She is certified in the Walsh Protocol, which addresses nutritional and biochemical imbalances that impact mental and cognitive health.
Dr. Daoud has completed an Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the Medical Academy of Pediatrics & Special Needs (MAPS). The MAPS program offers in-depth and specialized training for physicians addressing neurodevelopmental disorders, positioning its fellows among the most prepared practitioners in complex pediatric conditions. Dr. Daoud has also pursued advanced training in genomics and clinical decision support systems, enabling her to deliver precision medicine tailored to each patient’s unique genetic and biochemical profile, ensuring highly effective, individualized treatment plans.
