Dr. Daoud, MD, CCFP, FMAPS
Dr. Daoud is an Integrative and Functional Medicine Consultant and the founder of Thrive Integrative Medicine. She is a Board-Certified Family Physician (CCFP) and a Fellow of the Medical Academy of Pediatrics & Special Needs (FMAPS). Dr. Daoud earned her Bachelor of Science with High Honours and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan, followed by a Family Medicine residency at the University of Toronto. She is a member in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) and has practiced comprehensive family medicine in Ontario since 2016.
Building on her solid foundation in family medicine, Dr. Daoud has pursued advanced training in integrative and functional medicine to expand her expertise and more effectively support patients with complex health challenges. Recognizing the critical role of nutrition in health, she completed advanced nutrient therapy training at the Walsh Research Institute. She is certified in the Walsh Protocol, which addresses nutritional and biochemical imbalances that impact mental and cognitive health.
Dr. Daoud has completed a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the Medical Academy of Pediatrics & Special Needs (MAPS). The MAPS program offers in-depth and specialized training for physicians addressing neurodevelopmental disorders, positioning its fellows among the most prepared practitioners in complex pediatric conditions. Dr. Daoud has also pursued advanced training in clinical genomics to deliver precision medicine tailored to each patient’s unique genetic and biochemical profile.
At Thrive Integrative Medicine, Dr. Daoud provides functional medicine consultations for children and adults with autism spectrum and related neurodevelopmental disorders, mental health concerns, and complex chronic conditions. Her approach integrates insights from genetics, environment, and lifestyle to deliver personalized, patient-centered care.
